Q:      Our Recruitment Process? How it works?

A:       Our recruitment process is handled by automated system to achieve efficiency and effectiveness.
            Below are the various stages of our recruitment process:
  1.           Job Posting -All Job Posting/Vacancy will be created and posted on our Career Website at https://career.smarthills.com.pg.
  2.          Job Application - Interested candidate will apply the job. Some Job Posting might have a Pre-Screening Process before submission of Job Application Form. 
  3.          First Screening - Once Job Application is submitted, we will process it within 5 working day from the date of submission. ONLY Shortlisted Candidates will be notify to proceed to next stage.    
  4.          Assessment/Interview - Assessment/interview will be conducted based the nature and requirement of the job posting.
  5.          Offer - We will issue Offer Letter for the selected candidates with the respective employment terms & conditions.
  6.          Offer Rejected/Accepted - Once our offer is accepted by the candidates, Employment Contract/Employment Letter will be issued upon commencement of employment.   
            


Q:      How to apply job with us?

A:      All job application must be submitted via our Career Website at https://career.smarthills.com.pg. No other method of job application will be accepted.
  1.                   Please go to our Career Website and select the desired job opening and click the "I'm interested" button at the bottom of the job post.
  2.                   You will be navigated to Job Application Form (a webform).
  3.                   Fill up the Job Application Form and click "Submit" button at the bottom.
  4.                   Once the job application form is successfully submitted, you will receive a system-generated acknowledgement email.
                  In certain job posting, a Pre-Screening Assessment will be required before submission of Job Application Form. Please fill up the assessment form/questionnaire and click "submit".



Q:      Waiting Time/Response Time/Processing Time?

A:      With the automated system, we usually screen and process all job application submitted (First Screening) not more than 5 working days. Hence, please consider your job application Unsuccessful if you did not receive further Shortlisted Notification Email from us for further assessment and interview after 5 working days from the date of submission of your job application.

For response time after completion of Second Stage (Interview & Assessment), it will takes longer waiting time and it will depends on case to case basis. 



Q:      What is Shortlisted Notification Email?

A:      This is a system-generated email to notify the candidates that they have been shortlisted and proceed to the second stage of recruitment process. This email will either the weblink for Assessment or weblink to schedule your time slot for interview & assessment at our office or virtually (via Zoom, Teams or other cloud method).



Q:      What is an Assessment?

A:      Assessment is a process to evaluate the candidate. Form of assessment can be a questionnaire, test, demo & etc. Assessment will be conducted either at our office or virtually (via relevant cloud application). 



Q:      How to Schedule a timeslot/appointment for Assessment & Interview?

A:      We will issue the weblink for scheduling the timeslot/appointment for assessment & interview session.
  1.             Candidate will click on the weblink and navigate to the scheduling portal. 
  2.             Choose and select the time slot available.
  3.             Click "submit" bottom. Fill up the info if needed.


 Q:      Is it possible to Re-schedule/Change Time after Appointment is made?

A:      Yes, you may change or re-schedule your assessment and interview session based on the availability. There are certain limitation on the changes. Please refer to the scheduling web portal.
       


Q:      How to Reschedule/Change the Time of Appointment?

A:      Weblink for re-scheduling the time slot is available on the Appointment Notification Email and Appointment Reminder Email

There will be a system-generated Appointment Notification Email sending to you upon Appointment/time slot is confirmed. Normally, there will be also three Appointment Reminder Email sending to you before the appointment date and time. To re-schedule the time & date of Appointment, you can either go to the Appointment Notification Email or the Appointment Reminder Email and click on the reschedule link.



Q:      Unsuccessful and Re-apply for Another Job Posting?

A:      Yes, you can always re-apply for another job posting or re-apply again on the same job posting if you do not receive any response from us. However, please do not abuse and spam the process. 



Q:      Where and How to get the Latest Recruitment Notice/Vacancy?

A:      All job opening/posting/vacancy will be posted on our Career Website at https://career.smarthills.com.pg. From time to time, we will also advertise some of the job opening on newspapers, recruitment website, paid media, social media platform, & etc. To get the firsthand news of our Job Opening:

Q:      How to Follow-Up on Job Application?

A:      Please DO NOT contact us to follow up or check on your Job Application. All recruitment process are automated and timely processed. If you do not receive response from us within 5 working days from the date of submission of job application, please consider your job application UNSUCCESSFUL. Please try again next time.
