What If I Wrongly Updated?

What If I Wrongly Updated?

If you owned a Perpetual License, you will get perpetual access to the version of the software you purchased the license for, including updates. However, this plan does not include future versions of the software. Should a new version be released, you will need to purchase a new plan or upgrade your current Perpetual License to access it. Upgrade Discount is available. Please contact us.

If you owned a older version, you will lose the access if you update your software to a newer version. (i.e. Filmora 11 updated to Filmora 12 or PDFelement 8 updated to PDFelement 9 & etc).
Mirror updating (usually a bug fixes or patch updates) from Filmora 11 to Fimora 11.2, 11.5 & etc will not affect your access.

System generated prompts or reminder will direct you to update your software.

What to do if you updated to a newer version but you want to restore to the older version that you owned?
  1. You need to uninstall the newer software in your device entirely. Before uninstall, remember to backup your data.
  2. After uninstalling the newer software, restart/reboot your device.
  3. Look for the older version software installer and install the software in your device.
  4. Follow the prompt and it should be done.
